Galaxian, a classic arcade shoot 'em up from Taito, is a cornerstone of the genre. Players control a spaceship and must shoot down waves of descending aliens. Its simple, yet addictive gameplay loop, combined with its iconic visuals and sound design cemented its place in arcade history.  The game's success spawned numerous sequels and inspired countless other space shooters.
