Puzzle Bobble 2, version 2.2J (Japanese), released in July 1995, expanded upon the original with new features, levels and possibly enhanced graphics compared to the first installment. The core gameplay of matching and clearing colored bubbles remained central to the experience. It is part of the long running Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move series by Taito.
