This version of Asterix & Obelix is identical in gameplay and premise to the English/Spanish version, differing only in its localization for French and German audiences. The game still centers on the iconic duo overcoming obstacles in a classic side-scrolling platformer style, maintaining the familiar charm and simplicity of its graphical design.  Infogrames handled the publishing of this localized edition for the European market.
