Paperboy is an arcade game originally released in 1985 by Atari Games. The game is a simulation where the player takes on the role of a newspaper delivery boy, riding a bicycle and throwing newspapers to houses along a route.  The Game Boy version maintains this core concept, translating the side-scrolling action and obstacle avoidance to the handheld console's screen. Players need to successfully deliver newspapers while avoiding obstacles like dogs, cars, and other hazards to complete the levels.
