Space Invaders is a classic arcade shooter that received a Game Boy port. The Game Boy version retains the core gameplay of the original, with players controlling a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, shooting down descending alien invaders. The simple yet addictive gameplay of the original translates well to the Game Boy's handheld format.  The European release is one of several ports, and further details about the actual developer remain scarce.
