Checkered Flag is a racing game developed by Atari Games and released for the Atari Lynx in 1991. This title was among the early racing games available for the system and featured sprite-based visuals. Gameplay involved racing opponents on various tracks, trying to be the first to cross the finish line.  The game attempted to replicate the excitement of racing in a handheld format.
