Back to the Future Part II & III, also released by LJN for the NES in 1990, adapts both sequels into a single game. The gameplay largely mirrors the first Back to the Future game, with side-scrolling action and puzzle-solving elements. However, the transition between the two stories is abrupt and the game is arguably even more challenging than its predecessor. Similar to the first game, it captures the essence of the film's visuals but lacks the polish of many other NES titles.
