Spy Hunter is an adaptation of the arcade game to the NES. It retains the core gameplay of driving a high-tech car, shooting down enemy vehicles, and completing missions. The NES version would have been adapted to fit the technical limitations of the system.  The original arcade game was developed by Bally Midway.
