Battle Arena Toshinden 2 Plus was an enhanced version of Battle Arena Toshinden 2, released exclusively in Japan for the Playstation. While retaining the core gameplay features, it introduced additional characters and other minor refinements to gameplay and graphics.  Essentially, this version acted as a polished upgrade of the original sequel, with the extra content mostly aimed at hardcore players of the franchise. It was developed and published by Taito.
