Bomberman World is a 3D platformer featuring the classic Bomberman character and gameplay. Unlike earlier Bomberman games, this title leans into exploration, puzzles, and more complex level designs.  While retaining the bomb-based combat, it expands the gameplay experience beyond simple arena battles.  Similar to other Playstation Bomberman titles, it was developed and published by Hudson Soft, taking advantage of the system's 3D capabilities.
