Bushido Blade 2 is the sequel to the original Bushido Blade, released in 1998, also developed by LightWeight and published by Square for the PlayStation. It built upon the original's unique combat system by adding new characters, weapons, and game modes. Gameplay maintained the same emphasis on realism and one-hit-kill potential, while also improving graphics and overall polish.
