Mega Man X3 is a side-scrolling action game released in 1996 for the PlayStation, originally on the Super Nintendo. Developed and published by Capcom, this entry continues the adventures of Mega Man X, a maverick hunter in a dystopian future. The classic side-scrolling platforming and challenging gameplay of the series is enhanced with new abilities, weapons, and enemies.  The game is widely celebrated for its gameplay and the addition of new mechanics to the series.
