Arcus Odyssey is the US version of the Japanese RPG with the same name. The game shares similar gameplay mechanics such as character progression and battle encounters as the Japanese version.  However, the US release sometimes features translation changes and minor differences from the original Japanese version. While the developer's identity is not widely known, the game is a noteworthy example of RPGs ported to the Sega Genesis in Western territories.
