The Punisher is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game released for the Sega Genesis. Based on the Marvel Comics character, the gameplay focuses on combat and progression through levels. Players control Frank Castle, The Punisher, as he fights against criminals.  The European and USA releases may have minor differences.  Acclaim Entertainment published the game.
