Splatterhouse 2, released for the Sega Genesis, is a horror-themed beat 'em up that continues the story of Rick Taylor. The European and US versions have minor differences.  Gameplay involves navigating gruesome levels, battling grotesque enemies, and utilizing Rick's iconic mask for power-ups.  It's known for its violent content and disturbing imagery, a hallmark of the series.  The game was developed by Namco and published by Sega.
