Brandish, originally released in Japan for the SNES, is a first-person role-playing dungeon crawler with fantasy elements. It most likely involved exploration of a large dungeon, combat, puzzle-solving, and story progression.  The first-person perspective and dungeon-crawling aspects would have been unique aspects for SNES RPG's at the time. More detailed information on the gameplay mechanics and development is necessary.
