Raiden Trad is the US version of the vertical scrolling shooter Raiden Densetsu. The core gameplay remains largely similar to the original Japanese version, featuring intense action and demanding skill to succeed. As with many localized games, variations in terms of visuals, music, or content could exist between this version and the Japanese release. This provided a taste of the classic arcade-style vertical shooter to the American gaming market.
