Shadowrun is a role-playing video game released for the SNES. The original game is based on the Shadowrun tabletop role-playing game. The gameplay involves a combination of RPG elements, such as character development and story progression, and action elements, such as combat. The game was developed by Beam Software and published by Data East in various regions, including Europe, Germany, Japan, Sweden, and the USA.  Versions differ slightly depending on the region, due to localization.
