The USA release of World Heroes on the SNES mirrors many of the same features present in the other regional releases. Developed by SNK, it features the same unique blend of fighting styles and historically inspired characters.  The gameplay focuses on fast-paced combat, requiring players to master special moves to win.   Players would choose from a selection of fighters, each with their own fighting styles and moves. The graphics are colorful pixel art while the music matches the style of the rest of the SNK fighting game series.
