Battle Arena Toshinden 2, the sequel to the popular 3D fighter, retained the fast-paced combat of its predecessor while adding new characters, stages, and gameplay mechanics. Released in 1996 for the Playstation,  the game offered enhanced graphics and improved fighting mechanics, further cementing the series' popularity. It maintained the same core combat but added extra layers of strategy and depth.  Taito again served as both developer and publisher.
